TVP is no longer a live funding option for a new project. The official system remains relevant to existing applicants and records, but new applicants should not plan a purchase or sign a supplier contract on the assumption that TVP support is available.
Current status
The official TVP portal states that applications ceased after 31 December 2024. The Innovation and Technology Fund’s administrative system likewise marks the programme as closed to new applications. Existing cases may still require account updates, documents or follow-up through the former secretariat.
This is a good example of why grant research needs a status date. An archived page may be accurate about the original purpose and still be dangerous for a present-day purchasing decision.
What the programme was designed to do
TVP subsidised local entities using technological services and solutions to improve productivity or upgrade business processes. Historical projects often involved enterprise systems, cybersecurity, inventory tools, point-of-sale systems and other operational technology.
Businesses evaluating similar work today should define the operational problem first, then compare current schemes or finance the project on its own commercial return. Technology should not be purchased merely because a subsidy once existed.
For existing applicants
Keep the application number, supplier quotations, invoices, payment records, deliverables and any correspondence together. Follow only the contact information and submission instructions shown on the official portal.
