How we verify programme information
Funding pages age quickly. Our method shows the difference between a historical programme, a current intake and an unverified claim.
Source order
We begin with the administering body: a government department, statutory body, official programme operator or commercial provider. Application guides and dated notices take priority over marketing summaries.
Every programme note includes primary-source links and a review date. Where an old programme has changed name or closed, the page says so near the top.
Editorial checks
We check programme status, applicant type, location requirements, project timing, support structure and the meaning of any headline maximum. We avoid stating that an applicant is eligible because approval depends on facts we cannot examine.
Material corrections are made in place. Readers should still open the official source immediately before committing money or signing a supplier contract.
