Editorial summary

Eligible Cyberport incubatees, CCMF grantees and alumni may claim up to HK$200,000 for qualifying market-development activities. The current guide provides reimbursement of up to 75% for eligible expenses, subject to category limits and evidence requirements.

Define the market outcome before booking

A trip or exhibition is an activity, not an outcome. Set out which buyers, partners or investors the company expects to meet, how leads will be qualified, and what follow-up will happen in the first 30 days after returning.

Read the December 2025 guide

Cyberport's current MDSS page points applicants to revised Guides and Notes effective 12 December 2025. Older articles may quote different limits or eligible items, so the current document should control the budget and timing.

Build the claim file while the activity happens

Keep quotations, contracts, invoices, payment records, travel or attendance evidence and the resulting business follow-up together. The current guide caps total reimbursement at HK$200,000 and generally reimburses up to 75% of eligible expenses, but each category has its own conditions.
